Raymond and Jagger in focused heel — Houseraydas IGP training

This is not
casual breeding.

Anyone can put two German Shepherds together. We don’t. Every decision in the Houseraydas program — from the pairing, to the raising protocol, to the placement — is deliberate. Here is what that actually means.

01
Proven working ability — not just good looks on paper
Our sires and dams don’t just have titles. They have scores, results, and real performance at national and international level. Jagger is the youngest Irish National IGP Champion in history. Drama is actively working through all three IGP phases. These aren’t show dogs with a working pedigree. They are working dogs — full stop.
02
Temperament selection — stable nerve is non-negotiable
Drive without nerve is a liability. Our breeding program prioritises the combination of both — a dog that can perform under pressure and still be a reliable, manageable companion. Every parent is assessed for environmental stability, recovery, and clarity of character before being included in the program.
03
Early development — we start before most breeders think to
Puppies begin Early Neurological Stimulation in week one. Handling, environmental exposure, sound and surface variation, and structured socialisation are built into every litter from birth. By the time a Houseraydas puppy leaves for its new home, it already has a foundation that most dogs never get.
04
Selective placement — not every home is accepted
We screen applicants. These are high-drive, working-bred dogs — they are not a fit for passive or unprepared environments. We match each puppy based on lifestyle, experience, and goals. If your application isn’t suitable, we will tell you honestly. If it is, you will get a dog that is exactly right for you.

“The work we do before a puppy leaves our hands determines the dog it becomes. We don’t cut corners on that — for any litter, at any price.”

A simple process.
A serious commitment.

Getting a Houseraydas puppy is straightforward — but it is not casual. Here is exactly what to expect from first contact through to your dog coming home.

01
Enquiry & Application
Tell us about yourself — your experience, lifestyle, training goals, and what you are looking for in a dog. The more detail you give, the better we can match you.
02
Screening & Match
We review your application and may follow up with questions. Suitable applicants are contacted to discuss which puppy — if any — fits their situation. We may recommend waiting for a different litter.
03
Deposit & Reservation
A non-refundable deposit secures your place on the litter and confirms your chosen puppy once selections are made. Full balance is due before or at collection.
04
Collection & Ongoing Support
Your puppy goes home fully vaccinated, microchipped, and vet checked — with a guidance pack and lifetime support from the Houseraydas team behind them.

The results speak
for themselves.

Houseraydas is not a backyard operation. We compete at the highest level in Ireland — and the credibility of our breeding program is built on that foundation.

Consistency across
every generation.

The quality of a breeding program is measured over time — not just in one litter. Our previous placements continue to work, compete, and succeed in their homes. That track record matters.

Winter 2025
Jagger × Deadly
Jagger vom Höllenter × Deadly von der Jendaliz

Our Winter 2025 litter paired Jagger with Deadly von der Jendaliz — Best Female and 4th Place at Irish IGP Nationals 2025. Dogs from this litter are now settled in working and sport homes across Ireland.

Why This Matters
Breeding record & transparency

We maintain a record of every litter because accountability matters. If you are considering a puppy from Houseraydas, you should be able to see the history, the pairings, and the results. Previous litter pages include full parent information, health results, and litter details — no guesswork.

Puppies from our current and upcoming litters are priced at approximately €2,000. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place. The full balance is due before or at collection. We do not negotiate on price — the investment reflects the quality of the genetics, the health testing, and the raising protocol behind every puppy.
Yes — but not for passive family homes. These are high-drive, working-bred German Shepherds that require structure, regular activity, mental stimulation, and experienced handling. Active families with dog experience who can provide consistent training and engagement are welcome to apply. If you are looking for a low-maintenance companion, this is not the right dog.
Every puppy leaves with initial vaccinations, veterinary health certificate, microchip and registration, a transition guidance pack, and lifetime ongoing support from the Houseraydas team. You are not on your own once your puppy goes home — we remain available for training advice, behaviour guidance, and health questions throughout your dog’s life.
We are based in Ireland. We welcome applicants from across Ireland and the UK. Puppies can be collected in person — which we strongly prefer — or travel arrangements can be discussed for serious applicants based further afield. We do not ship puppies unaccompanied. Contact us to discuss logistics for your situation.
We ask applicants about their experience with dogs, their lifestyle, living situation, and training goals. Some applicants will be followed up with a call or visit. We may recommend a different puppy or litter if we feel the match isn’t right — or decline the application if the home isn’t suitable. This is not personal — it is the standard we hold for every placement.
Yes. We encourage visits for serious applicants. Seeing the parents, the environment, and the puppies in person is the best way to be confident in your decision — and it gives us the opportunity to meet you. Get in touch to arrange a visit.
Yes. All parents used in the Houseraydas program hold SV certified hip and elbow ratings from Germany, and verified DNA panels. We provide full health documentation for both sire and dam on request. We do not breed from untested stock.
