Ongoing training
We build the behaviour through structured training, with follow-up monthly or as your dog needs, and phone guidance in between.
The first session is not a generic one-hour lesson. It is an assessment, a demonstration and a plan, and it is what makes the rest of the training effective.

With 20+ years of dog-training experience, Raymond leads every initial consultation and the training that follows, from family dogs and difficult behaviour to national-level working dogs.

How much does dog training cost?
The price depends on your dog, the service and your location, so we confirm it with you before you book and you always know the full cost, including any travel, before you commit. Ongoing training and residential stays are priced individually.
What happens during the first consultation?
Raymond assesses your dog and your situation, understands your goals, demonstrates the training in person and explains what needs to change. You leave with clear priorities and practical steps to practise, and a recommendation for what your dog needs next.
Where do you train?
We’re based in Tipperary and work with owners across Ireland, depending on the service and the travel distance. Tell us your location when you enquire and we’ll confirm what’s possible.
Do you travel outside Tipperary?
Yes. We travel across Ireland depending on the service and distance. Any travel cost is confirmed before booking.
What breeds do you train?
We train family dogs of all breeds and crosses, as well as working and sport dogs. Training is built around your individual dog’s temperament and drive rather than its breed.
What ages do you train?
Puppies through to adult dogs. Puppy training focuses on socialisation, confidence and good habits from the start, and older dogs with established habits are welcome too.

Can you help aggressive or reactive dogs?
Reactivity and difficult behaviour are a core part of our work, and every case starts with an assessment. Suitability, safety and the training plan are decided individually, and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can help. See behaviour rehabilitation.
Do I need to buy special equipment?
No. There’s no mandatory equipment purchase, and the aim is training that works without constantly relying on equipment.
How many sessions will my dog need?
It depends on your dog, the problem and how much practice happens between sessions. The initial consultation identifies the priorities, and follow-up is monthly or as required, with phone guidance where helpful.
Do you offer residential training?
Yes, as a 1, 2 or 4 week stay. Your dog trains with us daily, then you receive a full handover so the training holds at home. Pricing is confirmed when you get in touch. See residential training.
